About IranianAmericans.org
We provide the most enhanced statistics on Iranian Americans. This includes all ethnicities and religious groups of Iran; Zartoshti, Muslim, Christian, Jews, Baha'i , Azari, Balouchi, Kurd, Lurd, Mazandarani, Jonoobi, Turk, Gilaki and etc. The increasing number of Iranian men and women in the U.S. lack hambastegi and support especially amongst the new generation of Iranians born in the United States. Little research has been conducted on different ethnicities of Iranians abroad especially in America and the lack of ability of these ethnicities to organize with Persians. We do not use the phrase Persian here since it excludes many Iranian ethnic minorities. Many Iranians use the phrase Persian instead of Iranian to distant themselves from the negativity of Iranian politics in the U.S. This is specially true with the new generation of Iranian American kids. The growing number of Iranian born population in the U.S. shows us that the young generation of Iranian Americans are more adept to use technology in order to connect with friends and family, he or she might consider changing his or her name to something less Iranian with a western sound and he or she might even deny ever having Iranian American parents or being of Iranian heritage.

Based on our research and articles published by Migration Information Source, from 1980 to 1990 Iranian born population in the U.S. climbed 74 percent. Out of this percentage 55 percent have never visited Iran. 22 percent of this population identify themselves being from parents who were minorities in Iran. Most of them were born in cities with high concentrations of Iranian Americans ex. Los Angeles, D.C. and Dallas. However a staggering percentage of the Iranian Americans' new born, 34 percent were in places like Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Michigan where they are scattered and most did not identify themselves or their children correctly as "Iranian" on the census report of 2010.  Iranian kids and some adults continue to dissociate themselves with Iran and being Iranian due to the intense criticism surrounding the Islamic government.

IranianAmericans.org with the help of volunteers and students have set up some of the most enhanced calculations and algorithms to support the Iranian community from Bangor Maine to Los Angeles California through digital means for enhanced hambastegi and support. We must remember that the changing cultural composition of Iranian Americans can enhance our political power through the ballot box. It is important to be proud of our 3000 year old heritage and to remind ourselves to always be grateful to the freedom, culture and society of our host country so we can share it with the next generations.
